Pre- Season Starts

Newman FC started the pre-season warm up with a friendly game against The Fox (Formally The White Hart), at The John Henry Newman astro turf. You could of been mistaken in thinking that you were at the beach the sun was shining and there was sand everywhere. This was the first time Newman were seen in the new strip of yellow and blue. The Fox took the lead near the end of the first half when they got a corner.  The ball was played into the back post where it was meet by a Fox head that rebounded of the bar and hit Newman defender Bunny on the back and ended up in the back of the net. Newman pulled level just after the break when the ball was played through to Newman forward Mark who hit the ball early past the Fox keeper. Both sides had chance but the game finished in a draw.
